Writing with the Masters...

Critique Service is now open!
Dear Friends,
In conjunction with our new book, WRITING WITH THE MASTERS, Mrs.
Freeman and I are now offering a writing critique service.
Specific information is right below this newsletter. We
are exciting about offering our services to families who do not
take classes at HEP. Brochures will be available soon at
the store. The book is our new writing book that will be
used by all English classes from 7th grade and up. We hope
to have it ready around the 30th of August.
We have 1 more HOW TO STUDY SMARTER, NOT HARDER seminars
scheduled for August. Registration for the fall is going strong. Our classes are
filling up fast so if you are interested in one of the AP Honors
Classes sign up quickly as many of these are almost full.
Our Algebra 1, 2, and Advanced Math classes are all almost full.
WS and many science classes are too.
Our
Driver Ed program is conducting the 6 hour class required for
18-24 year olds at least twice on August 28 from 9-3:30pm.
Registration starts at 8:40. Bring a sack lunch. The
cost is $150.
New
for 2010, we will use the on-line TeacherEase program.
Parents will be able to check all grades 24-7. Students
will be assigned a password by each teacher. More
information will be coming!

Welcome aboard!
Every class should have at least 2
students appointed to work on the yearbook. Pictures of
students in the class, as well as photos of special activities
and candid shots should be taken. Students will be trained
to complete the class pages. Our yearbook is an on-line
book so you can work on your pages at home or in the HEP Lab.
